Default Transmission oils to lessen noise/chatter?

I have a pretty noisy 6spd, especially when its good & hot. I have been told by my dealer its normal synchro noises. I've also seen threads here confirming it's pretty normal. My 30K service is coming up soon. My question is if there are any quality transmission oils out there that might lessen the noise that I can try when I do my service? It gets annoying cruising around trying to listen to my nice exhaust burble, and I gotta deal with the whining transmission. Any suggestions?

In the same boat right now. My tranny is just notchier than i'd like. Been driving all over la trying to find a proper fluid to use. You must use a gl-4 rated fluid as per maintinence manual and all I'm finding is gl-5s and overpriced royal purple. From my research most people seem to be happy with a mix of 2 qts redline mtf and 2 qts mt-90. I can only find it online tho. Good luck!

I just use Nissan's OEM fluid and deal with the fact it's a sports car; they tend to be noisier than other cars.

Besides....just rev high enough and you're good to go.
