Wouldn't put the jack on those fins. I just use the stock jack on the areas designated under the skirts. Then just put stands.
hey thanks for your reply, but i don't think those 'tabs' under the skirts are meant for a single floor jack/emergency-type jack either as they tend to bend easily.

hmm...
They aren't meant for a floor jack, I've never had anything bend using the stock screw jack.
Jack up from the radiator :P just kidding here you go:
thanks man...I can't jack from the rear diff cuz i have a finned Nismo cover. And i 'shouldn't' jack from the 'Safet stand point' because jack at one car is not spreading the weight evenly, putting too much weight on one corner and bending my tabs.

hey not trying to start a war or anything here but if you're referring to the long rails that run along under the skirt, you can definitely jack the car there. i was taught that way and i've done it on all my cars. its mainly meant to be used for the wheels free lifts with the jack pads, but whatever you can get under should suffice.
I've always jacked it up from the front/center portion where the fins are located if I had the nismo diff cover. I dont know if I would be comfortable doing as Wu Watt suggested.

sounds like u know nothing about jacking up cars man. stock screw jacks that have a slot in the middle of the contact point (IE the 350z stock jack) are made specifically for jacking up by means of the "safety stand points" shown. the rails behind the sideskirts slide into the slot i mentioned, giving the jack a bit more latteral support. you will be fine. you're not putting ALL the weight on one corner, its distributed to that corner plus the jack. this is exactly how any modern car is designed to be jacked up, and exactly how the owners manual tells you to do it for flat tires, etc. dont be the ghey and teh sux and just do it.

Use a small piece of 2x4 and place it so the block of wood is under the body of the diff and up against the edge of the fins. That way there's no chance of putting weight on the fins themselves.

This is exactly what u need to do...you need to lift from the diff under belly with out contacting the fins.........when you lower the car, you also have to do so gradually because if you slam it down the suspension will compress and you can still hit the fins............
I have the nismo diff cover and used to do this.......i still one time while rushing managed to break one of the fins......
I then later designed a hidden hitch and then made a straight shaft -center jack point - so to lift the car rear up to where i can change both rear tires at the same time at drift events.
It serves as a hidden hitch and later can put this solid shaft in and use it as a jack point. You can see the nismo diff cover in the pics.
PIN STAY JACK POINT: IF you have an oem exhaust, or an oem like exhaust you can easily remove the rear pin stay and have a local welder weld a shaft that hangs down to a point that cant be seen but you "KNOW" is there.
Rear pin stay is this part:
It's held in with two 17mm hex head bolts (shown) and two 19mm hex nuts at the subframe mounts on each end. you can remove it and take it to a shop to have a center lift point shaft welded on that hangs down out of sight due to the oem like exhaust can hiding it.
