[QUOTE=rippn

After some research I will be talking to the dealership to see if they will replace the sensors related to the po340 and the recall, don't know if this still applies after all these years but hopefully.

The other issue I'm having is getting to the camshaft position sensor on bank 1. It's physically impossible to reach from the top, I have a stillen supercharger, anyone with that s/c replace the bank 1 cp sensor? I'd like to know how you did it.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]

I am having the same problem with the po340 and I also have the stillen supercharger. Can you shed some light on how to replace the sensor. Thanks.

You might want to start by calling Stillen. They may be using a different sensor. Go with what they recommend.

Its behind the engine, you can reach both sensor from the passenger side. I replaced mine with OEM and the SES stopped coming back. For some reason my car ate up those auto shop parts like crazy. OEM pleased it.

I replaced my pass side sensor in a parking lot in like 30 minutes. Hardest part was getting the sensor out and disconnected from the harness. Don't pay anyone to do it

I would sure like to know what is causing this P0340 code issue. Here I am back replacing this same part... 4 years later!! Camshaft position sensor. Bank 1 on the passenger side rear. Driving along car lost power and cut off, Sat for 10-15 min on side the road. It barely started again. got me home. Took to Autozone, to read codes...Same stupid code that I had 4 years ago!!!!! (come on NIssan recall and fix this crap)
I let Pep boys fix it last time, Part under warranty - I think I can replace this myself!
Tired of paying the Nissan Stealer. Also got codes C1130 and U1000. I think that's because P0340 threw up the first issue.

I'm considering taking it to Nissan to get the stealership treatment. Any word of advice is well appreciated!
