Wink Driving a Z in the cold

I have came to the conclusion that our Z's cars hate the cold weather. Because wired SHT starts happening when its cold Check Engine light come on air bag lights come on key less remote stops working you know things like that. Does anyone else have the same complaints?

I doubt the "cold" weather has anything to do with your electrical gremlins.

It's cold here...like up to -35 degree celsius. The only 'problem' I can see is tire pressure going down or car not starting if it remains parked and un-driven for a few days. Then a quick boost fixes that.

My CEL comes on every now and then. Tire pressure stays on in the mornings. And my exhaust rattles every sh1tty piece of plastic in the car

You think your CAI is causing your electrical problems, in conjunction with the cold?

heh.

Sorry, that's not it.

I've a TT G35, and the cold makes no difference in electrical problems, or lack thereof. Including the CAI that is part of the JWT TT kit.

Cold air does give me more power, which is nice.

I have a JWT popcharger. Obviously as stated above the intake would in no way cause electrical problems or anything.

I also notice my ipod doesn't seem to produce high bass either in the colder weather.

On a serious note shifting is a pain in the buTTocks area for about 10 mins or so till the tranny juices get warm, I am running synthetic fluid Royal Purple, this happens in all my Datsun's & Nissans in the winter months, nothing I can't deal with.

Electrical problems, reallY????

+1 on the super notchy shifting til the juices warm up in the tranny.

And another +1 on the all the rattles post exhaust installation.

Shifting is a pain when it's cold, I use Royal Purple also. I don't have any electrical problems but it does start kinda weird when it's cold.
