Default Help..There's a funny smell coming from my car..

A little history first.. I got a 5speedAT ..So I decided to do a little bit of "inspired" driving in Manual mode, I drove it for about 10 mins. .. So when I get home I smell something like burnt plastic or rubber..I didn't think nothing of it..
So today I drive to work normally in auto mode and that smell comes back w/ a faint smell in the interior of the car, also I got my heat on . So I check to see if maybe a plastic bag is stuck to the exhaust pipes..Nothing.. I check to see if the grounding kit wires are touching anywhere.....Nothing... So I sniff around the engine close to the throttle body near the firewall I kinda smell it, but not really.. Has this happened to anyone before??? Also WTF is it??, Im going crazy....
Is it wiring touching some where???
P.S I have 7000 miles on the car

Help please.. Thanks

Mine smells bad too, especially if I manually switch off the A/C. It smells something like moldy bread or athlete's foot. With the A/C on, that smell is barely noticeable. I believe with the A/C off, Nissan engineers programmed the climate control system to pull air down below...near my sweaty feet, then blown right to my face. Great design...now I know when I have to change my socks.

Let the fans run with the AC off. The smell goes away. Before you shut off the engine,do the same.

Maybe you should all take showers more often?

To Whom It May Concern,
I purchased a 2004 350Z roadster .I have noticed some toxic smell coming from the vent of the AC.
I took it to the dealer and they haven't been able to find the cause for this smell. They even took the orange seats out to see,
if that was the problem. They checked the engine for any possible leak.
If anybody has a technical information about this problem, please
reply.
Thank you

Be carefull with the emergency brake release. Even if it is bearly on it will heat up your wheels to point of burning rubber. Wife drove only 3 or 4 miles with the brake not fulling released and when she pulled into the garage I thought some rubber had melted to the exhaust. I felt the rear wheels and they were extremely hot. The whole rearend smelled like burning rubber or plastic. She later said that she may have not released the brake completely. When I checked the brake it was just bearly on, not even noticiable by looking at it. Don't know if the brake light was on. Not related to heater, but it surprised me that this happened.
