Default Drivers side cam sensor

So my car has been running the famous bad cam position sensor code for bank 2. Vdc slip and engine light come on while i get a occasional bad start. Well I ordered my drivers side sensor. I'm gonna change it and I'm just wondering does it make it a lot easier if I remove the intake manifold? And what color is the clip? I also heard you should change all 3 sensors (crank , bank 1 and bank2 ) at once. If I only change one will I end up with problems? Thanks

ya its alot easier with the mani off. It onlt takes 10 mins to remove/install it anyhow, so why not.

as long as your other sensors are fine, there is no need to touch them.

Honestly you can get to it without taking the Manifold off. I just lean over from the passenger side. Also having ext. on your tools help.

I've changed that sensor on the side of the road before, much quicker and easier to just go after the single 10mm bolt than to remove 15 and risk losing a bolt. Even more so if you have a plenum spacer and have to deal with the internal spacers.

I changed the sensor last night. Was pretty easy. I did take off the top of the manifold cuz it made it a lot easier. For anyone doing it in the future use pliers or something on the clip to push it in and pull, made it come off right away. My code went away and car is running good!
