Default Sleeping Tach

Almost forgot.... noticed something that worried me a little bit the other week. Was driving home from work and hit a nice stretch of open straight road entering the on-ramp for the highway, so of course I had to light it up. I was keeping my eye on the tach and noticed that it went dead (dropped to 0) when I hit about 4000RPM and then shot back up almost immediately afterward. Is there cause for concern with this or should i just pretend that it never happened

if it happens often, get it checked out. otherwise, don't worry about it.

How many miles on the G35 coupe? Do they experience the excessive tire wear problem on the front tires?

Mine did something similar, it held at like 3000RPMS when I clearly was reving higher. Pulled into a parking lot, re-started the car, and it hasn't happened since...
