Clunking Noise in front end
Everytime I go over a decent bump, or my gravel driveway the front passenger side clunks. Im not sure where to start. Im guessing upper and lower balljoints for the car. Also the car needs new front tires, they are worn down the the threads on the inside on the tires. Also the front right passenger side wheel bearing howls like no tommorow. My plan is to fix the clunking noise, then swap both bearings, then mount the new tires and the get a wheel alingment. Im new to owning a Z, any help would be greatly appreciated. ( I already have the wheel bearings and tires)
no need to guess what it is
put the car up in the air, have a friend with you and a pry bar, and find out exactly what is making the noise - this way when you spend money, you're spending on fixing the car

Check the bolts on the upper link - in fact loosen and then re-tighten them. That has been a known problem. Next is sway bar end-links - I had a clunking and after replacing those, totally gone. Those are cheap fixes so might as well start there, then move on to the more difficult/expensive items.
