this has happened to me as well, my door does not open from inside and out. i am getting really frustrated ,is there a way to open the door at least? and i really dont want to take it to the dealer . because after that i probably wont have an arm and a leg.

I also struggled about half a year ago with my drivers side door. When it was cold outside, the door didn't open neither from the outside nor from the inside. I was even planning to tear door panel. A funny thing that i noticed, was that the inner locker didn't move so far as the passenger side one.
How did I get my door open?
In this post you can see, how the door handel is mounted https://my350z.com/forum/9546573-post4.html
I tore apart the inner window seal from the door panel. From inside of the car I managed to pull "metal wire" upwards (shown on the fourth picture) with a little hook. After that I first opened the door lock and then the door also opened from the handle.
It was caused by a broken door handle (inside there is a little spring that helps to move this "metal wire" - the spirng was broken).
My driver side handle stopped working on me this weekend. The inside works just fine. I did notice that if you open the door and with a key or something move the locking mechanism back ( like if you closed the door, but in this case the door is open) and try to open it, there is a little plastic lip that moves under the latch ( int the same manner that to a ar15 disconnector works). If I try to actuate the outside handle it moves just a tiny bit, then when I actuate the inside door handle, it travels much more, thus opening the door. I am guessing that there is a connector that must be worn or broken and must need to be replaced since the handle still mechanically functions, just not 100%.
Will take a video of my work when I take it all apart next weekend!
The outside door handles just stopped working for me as well. Passenger side stopped working last week, yesterday drivers side stopped working. I'm not generally a very mechanically inclined person but there are some videos on YouTube for this I guess I can try out.
FYI part #s are:
80606-CD00B for the passenger side door handle
80607-CD40B for the driver side door handle
Yep, same thing is happening to me right now. I'm not even going to mess around with it. I'm just going to get another handle. My gross assumption: years of expansion and contraction on a plastic component. But still, that's kind of wack.
Hey,
I just had this same issue.
I got on youtube and there are videos on how to repair this.
I ordered 2 new handles from Amazon for about $35
The brand I got was Gledewen. Seems to be a good brand.
Good Luck

My 05 350 handle opens from the inside and not outside, I pulled out the handle and nothing is broken and rods are in place, I also sprayed WD-40 all around to loosen em up. Any idea what it could be and what else I should try?

If nothing is broken, then it sounds like something is not connected internally, like the push rod. Otherwise, replace the handle. It's like $25.
Most likely the door actuator assembly. There are multiple lock rods for the driver side door due to the key lock cylinder. The "outside handle rod" might be connected to the door handle assembly, but there could be something wrong on the actuator side. This is easiest fixed/inspected if you remove the inner door panel, window glass, and regulator assembly. But you can remove just the door handle and peek inside to see what's going on with the actuator.
Here's a picture of the whole assembly for the driver's door.
Good Luck!

I replaced the handle and still have the issue, door doesn't open from outside, I uploaded a video on my YouTube (linked below) showing the rod mechanism, can you take a look and see? It looks like the rod isn't pushing the blue clip far down enough.
From your video, it does look like the push rod is not aligned properly in the holder and not putting enough pressure on it for it to operate correctly. You may just need to adjust/rotate the rod so it makes good contact, or the handle is faulty and not rotating enough.
As shown in Icer's picture from the FSM, there needs to be very little clearance between the bent part of the push rod and the holder with the blue bushing.
You can tell there is way too much play in yours based on this still image.
If adjusting/rotating the rod doesn't work, then your bushings (either the blue one, or the yellow/white one on the opposite side) might be worn out or improperly installed. IIRC, there is a clip that must be engaged on the handle side that keeps the rod in place. Is that connected correctly?
