Default After fixed grease streaks..

I got the window grease fixed and rattling fixed
last weak
After that I noticed more annoying rattling noise above 3000rpm
but I don't know where it comes from
also one weird thing is I hear too much wind noise when window
is closed above about 90km
This wind noise is just like you hear when the window is opened
Anyone experienced this???
Thanks!!

I'm getting the same thing (driver side wind noise at 60+ MPH). I'm going to make an appointment tomorrow. I think the window is not aligned properly. Also, you may want to wash your car - then roll the windows down and back up. After doing so on my driver side window, there is water...on the INSIDE of the glass. This never happened prior to the fix.

I have the same wind noise. I regret getting it fixed now.

Sorry to hear all the issues w/ the windows. I have a grease problem now and I don't think I'm going to fix it because there seems to be too many problems after the repair.
Pick & choose your battles

Default window prob.

your problem might be with the auto sealing feature, I had my grease streaks fixed and I think what happens is this. Note (your window lowers about 1mm when door is open). any way they open the door and the window drops down a mm. then the disconect the battery to be safe with the speaker wires. the fix the greese streaks plug every thing back up with the door now closed and the window down a mm. still. Then when you open the door the window drops down a second mm. to fix it just hold up on the window switch like to raise it for about two seconds and the motor will engage and reset the window to the correct position.

For what it's worth, I had the grease streaks fixed - and I had no problems afterwards. No rattles, no misalignment, no dirty fingerprints on the interior. I guess it's all down to the dealer.

I also have this wind noise coming about after 60mph. Is this something the dealer can fix? And some one mentioned dirty finger prints, I have some after they did the fix and scrubed about 20min to get them off and I can still see them. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

My experience has always been to never let the dealer due any work unless it is something I can't do myself. Once they take something apart it will never be the same, especially door panels. The factory seals are broken and the sound damping will be disturbed, along with tweaking other things. I have the window streak on one side but glass cleaner solves the problem, Besides, I think over time the grease will eventually wear off.

At any rate, I think fixing it will cause more problems which are more annoying, like rattles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

The more I hear about Nissan service blunders, the more I think my service dept. here in Modesto is pretty good. They've doon a great job for me so far.

My streaks were fixed and I got the car back without any problems. As I started to pull away from the service driveway, my service writer stopped me and told me to wait a sec. He went and got some window cleaner and removed a few fingerprints on the passenger side glass that I hadn't even noticed!!

I had my streak problem fixed and a rattle has resulted. The noise comes from the passenger side arm rest. I can push down on it and the noise will go away until I hit a bump. It almost sounds like "speaker feedback" from a loose wire, but it is definatley coming from the arm rest. I wish I had never had the streak problem addressed.

I had my streak problem fixed, to have it replaced by a SQUEAK problem!

When putting the driver's window up or down now, I get a nice loud squeeeeeak. It's almost as if the dealer stripped ALL the grease off the window mechanism, including whatever it needed to operate silently.

Love the car, hate the problems.

Had my window streak problem as well. Fixed after the second time. The dealer also left one window too tight, dirty figerprints , some broken door panel clips and marred panels.Windows when up all way like too tight had them replace some window regulator. Fingerprints cleaned off with some foam cleaner all good. Clips on panel broken=new panel ordered (rattles gone).
I am on my 3rd dealer and they all have ****ed up some thing on my Z. NNA should do something if we're getting a crappy car let's get good service WTF.
