Default Stock oil pressure gauge

How does the stock oil pressure gauge give the information to display the engine oil pressure? I know there is a pressure sender on the oil pan near the oil filter. Which goes to the ECU, but after that, idk. I know all 3 gauges are really one assy, but how many connector hook up? One for each gauge or one for the whole assy?

Does anybody have a pic of the back side?

Sorry for the dumb questions, I own a G35 not a 350Z.

I'd suggest getting a copy of the 350Z factory service manual and look in the DI section for the Triple Meter. It has complete wiring diagrams there.

Hopefully, this might tell you what you need.

Thanks, I was thinking about adding a Oil Pressure gauge to my G35. I wanted to match the OEM look and color as close as possble, so i thought a Z33's oil pressure gauge would look nice, and I wouldn't need another oil pressure sensor.

However now it's looking like it would be more trouble than it's worth.

I doubt the G35 uses the same sender.

you cant just connect the gauge to the sender unit. it doesnt read the same as the 350z does. its just a low pressure sensor unit. whereas the 350z uses volts to determine psi. as far as i know.

Maybe so, but would have been a easy fix. Needless to say i'll going with a aftermarket gauge

oil pressure senders are super cheap. no reason to use a stock one from a 350z. Just get the proper one for the Zeitronix

why do you need to know what your oil pressure gauge reads while daily driving?
