Default Car start issues/warning lights on/voltage high

I just got my 03 Track w 50k miles two weeks ago. Today I noticed the car had a harder time starting up and after about 4 minutes of warming up then driving, the Service Engine soon light/traction control/and SLIP lights all came on, i pulled over and i cant tell if the car shut off as iw as turning it off or it did it on its own. I then tried restarting it, it ook about 3-5 seconds of turning then turned off pretty quickly after. I then waiting 5 minutes and restarted it and it started up the same, but only the service engine soon light stayed on. The Voltage is all the way up to just barely past 14.

I drove to my new hosue where im moving 10 miles away after getting half a tank of gas put in, and when i left a few hours later, all the lights came back on, and it took the 3-5 seconds to start.

The car is driving fine, all temps are fine, oil pressure is staying around 60 cruising, just the voltage is staying high.

Does this sound like a electrical issue or maybe I need a new battery?

The regulated voltage is 14.1 - 14.7 volts, so you don't have a problem there. The battery is probably OK if it's turning the engine over briskly when you try to start it.

The TC/S lights might be coming on because of an non-OEM combination of rims, tire sizes, and/or tire pressures.

Any mods on the car?

Default re

mine reads 14.2 you are fine. car is aligned? ive had lights come on with putting front control arms in and spacing abs , or rear camber kits where after theyre in your tires may scrub, getting into scrub radius issues , solved with alignments. maybe someone with a better idea at 530a will chime in.

Go to Autozone and get the code pulled for free. Don't let them sell you anything. Report back and we'll go from there. The CEL is a tool and should be used as such.

One friend of mine thinks the ECU might be going? I know most of the lights in my car started going off when the chip off my ecu started lifting in my audi s4, but the car also performed poorly, which is not the case now...

Ok so i was on my way to the palisades mall to sell someone coilovers from my datsun project, and the car starting jutting and lost power and shut off. I barely end up making it there after it did it agian. I stop at an autozone and get my codes read. Cant remember exact read out but it was the cam sensor bank 2 (pretty sure that is the passenger side)

end up changing it in the parking lot with some newly found friends. Tried clearing the codes, unplugging the batter etc. The idle is all over the place car is trying to stall out and finally after 10 min of letting it sit and clearing again its acting normal all lights go off.

I drive 25 min to my friends fine the whole way, there for about 90 minutes, start the car no problem and letting it warm up. After about a minute or two it shuts off and all the lights come back on. I drive home like that and the car doesnt shut off...what now?

Did a little research...sounds like the crankshaft position sensor...why does camshaft show up on the OBD scan!!

bc its your cam sensor thats going bad, obviously. the car just doesnt make up codes to throw. bad cam sensor will make your car run like crap just like a bad crank sensor.
