Default Anyone have a DIY for OEM Front BREMBO disc/pads?

So i took my car to the dealer to get one of the synchros checked out.. turns out it was fine but then they told me that I need new brakes... I have 1mm left of pad on my fronts and the dealer wants to charge me 1000 dollars to change them.. Screw them! Anyone have a link to a DIY for replacing the Front discs and Pads on OEM 2007-2008 Brembos? I have changed rotors and pads before on different cars but never Brembos. Any help would be great!

Oh yeah, there is also a weird noise from the tranny when i turn the car off.. it sounds like something spinning is touching something else, im thinking its the clutch still touching. Of course when i asked the dealership to adress this problem the last 3k of my warranty they totally avoid it.

They are the same brakes... (g35 = 350z)

Remember that this is the "unofficial" way of changing the brake pads.

MAKE SURE that the brake fluid cap is off, and you have something around it that can absorb the brake fluid. It WILL spill over.

I just read through the section in the service manual dealing with pad replacement on Brembos. If you can't follow those instructions, you've got no business working on your own car.

Of course, that may be the case if you let the brakes on a high performance sports car get worn to half the minimum service limit without noticing it and doing something about it.

Get off your high horse dickface. I dont have the manual and the Z is NOT a high performance sports car... if you cant be helpful then get off this website and go troll on Youtube like the rest of them.

There's a sticky thread in the maintenance sub-forum that tells you where to get the FSM.

Your Z has bad synchros, a messed up clutch, and crappy brakes. Yeah, I can see how that would keep you from thinking it's a HP sports car.

Actually it didnt have bad synchros like I said earlier, you would see that if you could read, and the clutch is actually fine its just worn after 50,000 miles, which was causing the problem, but oh WAIT! DONT TELL ME! You have a perfect god sent Z that experiences no mechanical wear or problems... ever!!??? Sign me UP! lol If you want to talk high performance sports cars then look up Ferrari or Koenigsegg, probably names you've never heard. Thanks for the sticky though Mr. Winch... get real. BTW nice auto. At least mine has synchros lmao
