Default Painting My Calipers - Bleeding Brake Lines

I am planning on removing all 4 of my brake calipers on my 2003 350z to paint them, however what is the process for removing the brake lines so that i can free the calipers?

Should i just pull it off and then drain the lines? And after all of the painting is complete, should I just reconnect the hoses, fill up the master cylinder with fluid and then use a bleeder kit to get all of the air out?

I believe that is all i would need to, but correct me if i am wrong.

Unless you really know what your doing and have a pressure bleeder, i would not disco the lines. They are a pita the bleed, even with the proper equipment.

why do you say that? I've seen videos where people do it without any problems, so i wouldn't think it would be too hard.

Ive seen vids of people doing a lot of things, i can make a vid today of it, and make it seem like its easy.

Its actually easy on most cars, the Z likes to trap air in the ABS/VDC control module.

I know a place that can powdercoat your calipers n stencil whatever logo you want for a very reasonable price. Theyve got a really fast turn around too. if interested pm me for their info.

I think they can also replace all the seals too.
mind as well seeing how you will have the calipers off anyways
