hey guys
I have berk test pipes on my 05 Z.
I don't mine the engine light if it is caused by test pipes.
But what happens if there is other problems occurs when engine light is on?
Is it gunna blink ? Or, it doesnt do anything ?


I researched about this, and some of cars make engine light blinking when there are multiple problems on the car....

Does anyone know about this ?????

 

if it starts blinking that means a misfire.

They make test pipes I think with o2 sensor feature.

Ideally you should get the test pipe induced codes (or any other code you KNOW is harmless) disabled with an Osiris reflash. There is no way to know if a new code pops up after the light is already on.

 

im not positive on blinking..ive never seen it blink and pulled multiple codes after seeing single light. now i run test pipes without defoulers so i have a cel all the time..but i just scan the car every so often.. when i feel paranoid lol. other then throwing downstream o2 codes i throw a coolant temp code every so often from having a mishimoto thermostat. a cheap scan tron is like 100 bucks.
