Default No running lights!!! Engine light ON.

I was installing my new sound system yesterday in my '03 Z Enthusiast, when I plugged in the antenna wire into the back of the unit and there was a spark, which then I noticed (after I hooked everything up) that my engine light was on and that none of my running lights will light up. I believe the cause of the spark is because my stupid self did not disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. The rear lights will not come on until I press the brakes and only the main headlights will go on, which means I cannot drive at night until I fix this problem. Is this a blown fuse that i can replace and everything will work correctly? Or is this a more serious problem that I will have to seek professional help for?

Pretty sure the antenna is grounded. Sounds like you just blew a fuse. You should ALWAYS disconnect the battery, especially when dealing with any thing electronic!

Don't be lazy. Check your owners manual for fuse locations then check the fuses that control the areas you're having issues with.

It really isn't that hard to pull the fuse covers to find the fuse that is blown. Hope you can locate in repair in as little time as possible.
