Default Clicking noise, left rear on acceleration?

Has anyone fixed this problem yet? Its a clicking noise from the left rear wheel area. It clicks only on acceleration, and in reverse only on acceleration. Its been doing it for the last 5-6K miles, and its doing it more frequently now.
I know alot of people have this problem, and did a search for it, but this site needs some serious work done to their search engine. Thanks

Easily repaired. I believe there is now a TSB on it. Your dealer needs to disassemble and lube your axle splines...... if I remember right.

Thanks Damn I knew it had to be the axle, cause like I said only when load is applyed it clicks.
I had my dealer look for the problem 2 times now, but was never fixed. I will bring what you said to my dealers attention, and see what they have to say.. Thanks again

I had the same symptoms and took mine to Performance Nissan and they did what Jeff said no more problems. Rocky did a great job.

Either that, or it could be your hubs. I had to replace my passenger hub before the wheel feel off. Now, the driver's side is doing it too. Note the way the rear end "wiggles" under heavy accelleration without losing traction. Yep, you got a hub problem too. Get it fixed before your wheel falls off as well.

P.S. I track my car A LOT. So, know where my problem comes from...

Posts: 49 Just got mine out the shop today because of the window motor problem (they replaced the motor and regulator) and my SA gave me a copy of the Service Bulletin which shows the problem is the outer wheel bearing and axel joint assembly, the dust boot has to be replaced when you dissasemble the bearings.

SERVICE BULLETIN NTB04-065
affects all 2003 models and 2004 built before 2-14-04

description part #
Bearing assy, rear 43210-AL505
Axel outer joint assy 39211-73L00
Repair kit, dust boot outer 39241-73L28

Take the car to the dealer and tell them to bring up this TSB, they have to order the parts and fix under warranty
