350z Trunk WILL NOT OPEN!
My trunk will not open via Key FOB or trunk button and the emergency hatch release is blocked by my subwoofer enclosure. when I press the button or Key fob it does not even make a sound, basically does nothing. Does anyone know a fix for this? I tried replacing the fuse to no avail.
Regardless of whether i can open it manually or not, I still need to have the electric mechanism fixed. Anyone had this problem or any suggestion as to what it could be? I called the dealer and they said it may be the "relay" but I don't know what that is.
It's more likely that it's a bad actuator than a bad relay. Either way, it's easy to check your relays. Just do a youtube search on how to test a relay and if you don't think you can handle it, take it to a shop. Seriously, next to putting air in your tires, testing a relay is about as easy as it gets.
Theres a relay for the hatch. check the owners manual on the relays location.
