Default 350Z spark plugs well engine oil issue. Serious Problem? Help Please

Hi

I have recently replaced the spark plugs on my Z.
When replacing the plugs, I found that there are engine oils in driver's side spark plugs well.

I have searched on the forums and seem like it is a common issue. It can be solved by replacing the gasket.

My question is, if I don't replace soon, will it cause any problem?

Thank you.

Here you go...

and I would get anything dealing with oil leakage checked out asap.

i got the same issue while replacing my plugs around 25k. i bought all the gaskets to dyi and never did replace them. i do check the oil for leaks periodically, but so far it has not been an issue.

you can buy all the gaskets to dyi for about $100...or replace the valve covers at about $175 a pop.

good luck with it

r /d factory in el monte does the repair on your valve covers for 160 dollars. Ihad mine done.

cheaper then 200 a side for valve coveres.. btw OP the oil is not coming in from the valve cover gasket.. its from the seals in the top of the oil tubes.

Thank you everyone.

After I replaced the spark plugs. My Z still runs good so far without any problem.
I will continue to check the oil level, hopefully it's not serious oil leakage
