Car is losing power going around turns
My first post so please don't be too brutal. I have a 2006 touring. Replaced the tires about a year ago and ever since, when I go around a turn the slip light comes on and the car looses power. I keep my foot on the gas and it will eventually reengage once I get out of the turn.
Any suggestions on the cause/what to do? I am a not a motorhead so please don't get to mecho-techno. Tx.

This never happened before???? Any time I mash the gas on a turn the traction control always kicks on and does that, its what its supposed to do... I just turn my traction control off and im good to go, but I believe yours has VDC so one of those guys will have to chime in

Wrong size tires.
What are the specs on front and rear tires?
BTW - it was all explained here... https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....1&postcount=45

maybe it flashes idk, i never run with the trac. control on..he is saying the car is losing power and the slip light is coming on permanantly from what i gathered..which would point to wrong tire sizes

my slip light stays on permanent if i do some donuts with stock size tires. i do this every time i need a new set lol

So was there ever a time when "mashing the gas in a turn" was a good idea? None of the people in the ditch thought that's where they were headed either.

This is only due to incorrect tire sizes or stagger. He is not spinning his tires or losing traction. When the rear wheels are turning faster than the front (at a certain percentage) then the slip light will come on and the power will be cut from the engine. It is both cutting fuel and trickling the rear brake.
This will only occur during a high speed turn because the rear diff is unloading and causing the outer most tire to turn faster than usual, which will go beyond the allowed percentage allowed before traction control kicks in. Your car thinks your wheels are spinning but they are not. Get the proper sized tires and this will not happen. You need to maintain a factory stagger on your tires for this not to occur

Also, if you didn't know you can turn off the VDC or TCS and this will not happen
