Default Idle issue on start up?

I have an 08 350z and have an issue with idle on start up. And this only occurs when the car has reached it's normal operating temp.

What happens is, on start up the rpm rises of course. Then drops to nearly 100-200rpms, like it's about to stall, but doesn't. Then raises back up to it's normal idle of around 300-500rpm, and stabilizes. At time's I would blip the throttle just a tad for insurance, even though I know the car won't stall. But I know it'll drop real low before it picks back up to it's normal idle rpm.

On the other hand, on cold starts I do not have this issue at all.

The car does not have any CEL lights. Car is completely stock. Any ideas on what may be causing this odd start up idle issue when the car is in normal operating temp?

I appreciate anyones input!

This is a common issue. Not exactly sure what causes it, but mine used to to that a couple months ago. It went away, although im not sure what i did to fix it.

What you can try to do is disconnect the battery cables, turn on the headlights to discharge all the power from the ECU, and just wait a while before reconnecting the cables.

your condition with the drop out at idle is cause by your throttle body, the motor brushes eventually becoming worn, it will eventually lead to sensor correlation codes for your throttle body, this is a very common issue that occurs around 80000mi, and nissan actually has a service interval for it.
u will need to replace your throttle body and perform the following relearn procedures, found here https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...procedure.html
or take it to your local mechanic.
