i have it also, but dont know what the fix is, there is a TSB for inside rattles and a problem with the visor rattling, i dunno though. i have a pretty deep loud exhaust so i dont know if the dealerwill fix it. he'll say the exhaust caused the vibration!

The whole inside of the car is made of plastic and you have a relativly stiff suspension. of course your going to get some rattles! This car was designed around performance not luxury. You've got to keep that in mind. For the price you got a great car. Don't want little imperfections then buy a more expensive car. the more you pay the better the quality. But for the money the Z is worth every penny.

Oh i know, i have very few complaints about this car, but in my opinion a $37,000 car shouldnt RATTLE regardless of what a great value it is. I had a $12,000 dodge avenger with as much chassis and frame stiffening as you can get without welding everything together, and never had a rattle! and that was after 3 years of AutoX'ing it.

with that said, i LOVE the car and drive the dog pizz out of it. But rattles drive me crazy!!

I originally had loads of rattles. The dealer fixed all of them except the one from between the windshield and the dash, that I fixed by stuffing some felt down there. I have no rattles at all now, but I would be surprised to get some what with the hard suspension and all that plastic.

car is now one year old and 17,000 miles

My entire dash rattles. I have been stuffing black foam into seams and it looks and works great......Just small pieces or enough to make the area tight. My $.02

BTW does anyone else have a rattle on the rearview mirror plug. This is by far the worst rattle yet
