Default clutch pedal wont go up after JWT clutch install

I just finished putting in a JWT high performance clutch and flywheel into my Z and when i went to bleed the clutch the clutch wouldent go up. I bled it right so my conclusion is that i need a new master cylinder. My question is do i have to get a normal master cylinder that i can get from autozone or do i have to get a special one since i have the JWT clutch.

You can use a normal master. An upgraded one may last longer and be easier to bleed, but any will work.

For less than $40 you can buy a Genuine OEM rebuilt kit for the Master and Slave

I did one this weekend and the slave spring was completely mangled

Make sure you pumped it enough times to get fluid through the entire system. I had to pump mine about 200 times before it finally firmed up.

Why did you need to bleed the clutch? Was your pedal getting good pressure before the install?

Yes from the dealer
I would suggest changing out the clutch line if you haven't done so yet
this would be a perfect time to do this.

After everything has been put back together leave the slave
nipple open so while you are creating pressure through the
system air will be pushed out through there it will definitely make
bleeding the system much faster/easier and much more reliable.
