Default Detonation 3100-3500RPMS?

I am hearing what is clearly a slight pinging/knocking 3100-3500rpms in all gears.
Car only has 16k miles for an 2005 base with MT. I was involved in a minor MVA last year at 14k miles where I spun & hit a guard rail almost stopped on passenger front clip. Probably 5mph but the rail fwd of the accessories to the bumper had to be raplaced inner & pulled outer. I am thinking something could have been damaged or they left a vacuum line or something not connected. Too coincidental. Ideas gentlemen? Car runs well oil pressure often pops up around 90-100 at WOT. running 5-30 synthetic. I am all ears, any techs out there? No I haven't pulled codes.

I have no codes. The ping is getting worse. The car misses at idle wen at operating temp. Getting poor gas mileage & the horsepower is getting weak. Small 4 cylinders are pulling on me. I bought this car after looking for 6 months. I drove many with less that 30k that just didn't pull that hard & had clearly just been romped. This car pulled harder than any other & only 12k miles. Now I am at 17,500 miles & the problem keeps me from driving it. The car was hit underneath as the car popped the curb during the MVA. Body guys aren't mechanics. They left the battery undone & just flopping around & didn't bleed or fill my cooling system properly. The car detonates when it gets warm. The upper intake gets sooo hot you can't touch it hours after shut down. This is the issue. The air in the intake is so much hotter & not as sense as was is metered at the Mass Air Flow sensor. I fear something was damaged from getting too hot after coolant was incorrectly filled & not bled properly. Tech said "ton" of air & I took it back because my car was getting too warm, fans coming on right away & I could hear the air rushing through the firewall/heater core. This is my baby, what would you guys do? They also did something to trigger my CEL. The told me they had to reset it & it was never triggered in the accident. I was almost stopped when it happened but did hit a curb & these cars are low.

The car is running rough, and you don’t (cannot) get any codes?

If you have not tried pulling codes, you must do that to solve the problem. A car running as you describe should give you a (probably several) code(s).

It sounds as though the cooling system sustained damage in the accident.
