Brake Lights not working
Ive removed the fuses that i thought were the problem under the steering column, they were all good, no bad fuses, i removed the taillight and replaced the bulb with a new one, its not the bulb, i even put a multimeter to the socket where the bulb connects to and it is receiving current, i also checked the fuse box in the engine bay, and the fuse which i thought it would be was not blown either, today i bought the brake light switch and replaced that to, what is going on?? the brake light switch i replaced was the one on top of the other switch, it has the white plug connector, so if its not that one i guess that is my problem. here are some pictures i took, im decently mechanically inclined, so im trying to do all this myself, but if it comes down to it, i might have to pay a shop to fix it
Hi, did you ever get this fixed ?
If you're sure you're getting the right amount of power (volts, amps, watts -- with the brake pedal depressed) at the sockets, then is it possible that your new bulb is bad too ?
I assume that you're talking about stop lamps and not tail lamps, because there seems to be another fuse for that on the Side of the battery.
BTW, thanks for the 350z fuse box pictures -- couldn't find these anywhere on the net. What year is your Z ?
OT: Just for the future benefit of this forum and other net users, here's a pic of the 2004 Nissan 350z fuse box (with cover layout) that's in front of the battery;
