Default Alignment question

Hey guys I just went to get my car aligned because it felt like it was pulling to the right at WOT. I didn't notice a change at all, but here is the spec sheet they gave me, not sure if they did the best job or not, I don't know much about cast and camber.

BEFORE
---------------------
Front Left:
Camber = -1.6
Caster = 9.0
Toe = -0.05

Front Right:
Camber = -1.5
Caster = 8.9
Toe = 0.16

Total Toe = 0.12
Steer Ahead = -0.11

Left Rear:
Camber = -2.8
Toe = 0.16

Right Rear
Camber = -2.6
Toe = 0.38

Total Toe = 0.54
Thrust Angle = -0.11

AFTER
---------------------------
Left Front:
Camber = -1.6
Caster = 9.0
Toe = 0.05

Right Front:
Camber = -1.4
Caster = 8.9
Toe = 0.06

Total Toe = 0.10
Steer Ahead = -0.01

Left Rear:
Camber = -2.1
Toe = 0.85

Right Rear:
Camber = -2.3
Toe = 0.93

Total toe = 1.78
Thrust Angle = -0.04

Do you have adjustable camber arms? Camber is not adjustable from the factory so I'd like to know how they adjusted the camber.

Your front left and front right camber are just a hair over specs. Front left castor is also just .1 over the line. Your rear camber is also over the limit. Id look into adjustable camber arms to get you back within specs. You will be able to adjust camber and depending on which arms you go with, you could also adjust castor

I see now your total toe and your whole toe settings in the rear is pretty jacked, the tolerance is between 0.13-0.16 for TOTAL toe. You have almost 10 times more toe than you should have. Whoever did the alignment should give you your money back if that isn't a typo.

I have factory ones running Hotkiss Springs and the springmount mod with 20'' rims. They wrote at the bottom of the paper "Both rear camber eccentrics are maxed out. Both rear Toe eccentrics are frozen and need to be freed up"

Is it still safe to drive like how it is?

I would probably keep it at a limit of town driving. That much rear toe and your tires are going to be hurting I would think.

They should have called when they ran into those problems, because what good is an "alignment" when they aren't even bringing you to within specs or even close? I think I would be taking my car elsewhere.

Its at Townfair, They said If I loosen the Toe bolt and bring it back they will re-allign.

So if I break it loose it for them it won't affect my alignment correct?

As previously mentioned, your Toe is jacked up, so it won't have any further effect on your alignment.

Be careful with those toe bolts tho.... If you strip or break one of those your car would be next to impossible to drive safely. Not very likely to happen, but fyi. Just use lots of breakfree or PB Blaster to break them loose

Just google images 350Z toe bolts and the location will come up.

I think I know which bolts they are, they are directly visible by looking straight behind the rear of the car correct? I'll soak it with PB tonight and bring it to an alignment shop tomorrow.

It's probably your toe that was making you veer to one side. Your new alignment specs are pretty bad, particularly your rear toe.

What do they mean when they say they want the eccentric bolt loosened? You only need to slightly loosen that toe bolt to be able to minutely turn it left/right to get the toe angle you want then you tighten it back up. The arm the toe bolt is attached to is the camber arm and you twist that to lengthen/shorten to adjust. Aftermarket parts, like toe arms + fixed toe bolt, will give you additional/alternate adjustment points.

When you adjust the rear camber, the toe will change with it and vice versa, so the alignment tech has to just play with it to fine tune it. Keep in mind that alignment depends on your entire suspension geometry which includes ride height (meaning it may need to be adjusted up.. or you buy an aftermarket part that allows for greater adjustments). I'd recommend you try to get slightly less negative camber in the rear and see if they can adjust the toe to be within spec.
