Default Car won't start intermittently. Electrical?

I have an 03 6spd touring with 83k on it. About 2 or 3 times a month the car will turn over but wont start. If i pull the key out and wait a few seconds it will start right up. No CEL or any other indicatior. It seems to be something electrical but I am not sure.

Does anyone know what this could be? NATS? BCM?

Also about 3 months ago both my rear TPMS stopped reading at the exact same time. I would get just a dashed line. The TPMS's were replaced at Discount Tire but they were unsuccessful at programming them. It seems that the car wont take the program. The fronts will program just fine. I tried the manual way of programming them and the rears still wont register. Could this issue be related to a BCM as well?

Thanks,

Interesting. I have an '06 6MT Grand Touring that does the same thing. I don't have to remove the key, just have to wait a few seconds before trying again.

Although, sometimes I have to actually assist by depressing the accelerator.

The key removal doesn't always fix it though. It might just be luck sometimes

03 and it happens to me too... although rather infrequently (once every 6 months maybe). I don't have TPMS so I can't comment on that part.

Happened to me as well and my battery needed to be replaced. Before I changed the battery it would be very sporadic. I could drive for three days and nothing. When it did happen I did take the key out and tried again and most times it would fire the next time. Replaced the battery and has not happened since.

Any one have any guidance? Some searching on here suggests the NATS system or a BCM may be to blame but I am not sure.
