Can some one help me find the transmission fluid dip stick

Default Can some one help me find the transmission fluid dip stick

I been trying to find the dip stick to my transmission fluid reservoir I looked online and I can't find it I have an 07 6 speed manual can some one please point me in the right direction

There is no dipstick on the manual transmission. On the side of your transmission is the fill hole. Remove the plug and stick your finger into the transmission to feel the oil level. It should be even with the bottom of the hole.

Kudos to Cornercarver for posting the correct info. I'd also add that the fill hole is on the DS of the Z. Before you check the level of your tranny oil, you must jack it up and make sure the car is level (both front to back and side-to-side) on jackstands. If you attempt this by just jacking up one side, the level will be skewed.

Everybody else who posted forgot we were all noobies once.

I learnt through tough-love. It only takes 5 minutes to flip through the FSM.

OP, there is no dipstick for the tranny....at least not for an M/T. Everyone else with useless comments, grow the f*ck up.

Is the fill hole on the DS or PS? Mine was on the passenger side when i replaced the tranny fluid....

To the OP, why do you want to check the tranny fluid? Thinking of upgrading or do you have some issues?
