You need the brake backing plate (dust pan) for proper clearance on ABS. You could cut them off, but do not remove them. It sounds like you should check the run-out on your rear rotors, as they might be warped enough to cause a squeak when the brakes are not engaged.

Yeah something isn't right, possibily something in the brakes touching. Have it looked at.

i def have to get it checked out the squeak is pissing me off. ill see if this monday i can either take it apart myself or drop it off at this guys place. hope its nothing crazy
