When I get another 350Z, would it be plausible to take a 370Z manual tranny (the synchro rev) and put it to a 350Z engine? Or would I have to get a 370Z engine?(or at least the 370Z ECU?)

Also I was thinking of putting a VR38DETT as a much later project.

LMAO! Don't you think there would be a bunch of threads about it already if it was so easy and simple to just swap the 370Z trans into a 350Z? Just get a 370Z next time.

And ROFL at the VR38DETT comment. It's not plausible to just plop that motor in the Z without the GT-R's AWD powertrain and dual clutch trans. Do you realize how much $$$ that would cost just for the parts?

Yeah... With the engine and labor I'm guessing the wrong side of 50,000....

The 370Z tranny with rev-match feature is not compatible with the Z33. The electronic architecture (including ECM, main harness and pathways) to support it will not exist in a 350Z and cost prohibitive to install. Same for a VQ37VHR or VR38DETT. They're all mirages to DIYers, and you'd likely need a full factory team to achieve any type of success with such a swap.
