I have a 2005 automatic transmission 350z enthusiast and need to drain and add new transmission fluid. I have the recommended S transmission fluid and transfer pump. My only question is where is the drain and fill bolts located on a automatic 350z? I looked at some videos for draining MT 350z but haven't seen anything on a Automatic 350z transmission.

Please help I'm ready to get this project started! Also I read you can use the same fluid for the transmission as the rear Diff?

 

Full is right behind the plenum tube coming up with a black cap near the firewall and the drain is black pan with a octagon flat looking bolt the pan is is squared.. You don't need a transfer pump I just filled it with a funnel and poured into the tube you need a skinny funnel though and the bolt holding down the black cap is 10mm.

 

What part of Vegas are u at? I'll try posting u a pic of the fill for u

I easily located the drain and removed about 3.75 liters from it. still looking for the fill though. A picture would be very helpful johndoesdamage.

Actually I think I just found it. Black circle cap being held down with a bolt. Says use Only J on it.

yea I got about 4 out and then filled drive around for about 1000 miles then drained another 4 and filled...
