Default VDC and Slip Light on long drives

I have noticed on long drives after about an hour or so, my vdc off and slip light turn on and will not turn off. Once I turn the car off, the lights are off again until I drive for another hour or so. I've checked my brake fluid and it seems to be fine. I've already replaced my brake pads and rotors. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

Replacing brake fluid, pads and rotors will have no effect on VDC/slip. More likely is one or more of the wheel speed sensors could be damaged or defective. Have you pulled any other diagnostic codes, as they should detect and hold codes in memory?
