Will seat belt pre-tensioner fire again if I don't replace airbag module?

My Z was involved in a front end collision setting off both driver and passenger airbags, but only the passenger seat belt is locked (pre-tensioner fired). I want to replace the entire seat belt and pre-tensional assembly. Do I have to install a new airbag control module or reset it before plugging the new belt in? I'm worried the new pre-tensioner will fire as soon as I start the car back up.
