Default All brake lights won't work

Hey guys have an 04 roadster with 06 tail lights had them on for about 4 years now. Whenever i step on the brake all won't work. Fuse by battery is new. Now sometimes it will light up and then it won't work again. Anything else I'm missing or should check? Any help will be appreciated Thank you!

Check the switch down on the brake pedal, make sure it's releasing when you step down and not sticking.

Have you checked the connections from the lighting unit to the wiring harness?

The switch is directly behind the break pedal?

Haven't looked at the Z one but usually there is a plunger that sits against the pedal and will turn the lights on right when the pedal starts to go down.

Happened to mine before.

I got my bet on Italianjoe's advise. I'm pretty sure that's your solution right there.

There's something like a switch under the brake pedal. It was loose. We pulled it out, cleaned it a bit and it was back to normal.

Looks like I might need a new switch. I pulled out the plug then plugged it back in, work for a day then stopped working again. Any recommendations on where to buy a switch and any install info would help. Thanks!
