Default Drive Belts and brake pads...

My Z is in need for new drive belts and I only want to use OEM.

EDIT: want to make sure these are the right belts: http://www.ebay.com/itm/FACTORY-OEM-INFINITI-G35-COUPE-DRIVE-BELTS-VQ35DE-/190618619846?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c61c14fc6&vxp=mtr
Also what are the best brake pads to go with? I was going to use either OEM or Hawk. It's just a summer car and never taken to a track so I just care about quietness and longevity..

I have napa belts, adaptive one pads and napa premium rotors. They all work fine for me. Brakes stop better than stock, don't make any noise and the belts spin my accessories.

Those seem like good parts indeed after a bit more research I'm going to stick with oem.

Are there any good sponsors that supply oem parts at really good prices?

If you insist on OEM brakes and belts, finding a really good price shouldn't matter much.

There are local dealers here that charge more then other dealers, so calling around is tedious.

I just tried the online Nissan parts site and it works pretty well. Dealers 30 miles away have prices about 10% cheaper.

It was the same price as my local dealer after the shipping charge of $12.20. I'm probably going to just either go to my local dealer or buy on eBay and save $25. I just hate using PayPal and eBay in general.

I do mine OEM as well. Let me highly recommend the Nissan PBC grease as well..... By the time I ditched all the hacked up crap that various brake shops had done over the years for the PO, I ended up with OEM pads complete with all the various shims that came with the car. Follow the FSM to the letter, particularly as it involves the aforementioned PBC grease, and presto - zero squeaks, zero rattles, solid quiet, sure braking.

Of course, this is OEM. More capable aftermarket brakes can be set up to be as quiet and trouble-free as the OEM. But OEM is sufficient for me.

As a bonus, that PBC grease lasts forever and can also be used on other cars' brakes.

Exactly... I want it to be quiet and my OEM ones have been very good performing and quiet.

I wish I had the Brembos but wouldnt make much of a difference since I never go to the track.

I suspect the reason that OEM pads are so quiet is that they're soft. Their downside is excessive wear and dust they produce (especially the front pads). While I have Brembo's, there is no noise using Autozone's ceramic pads and much less dust. Moreover, they cost about a third of what Nissan charges.

I'd still take Wagner thermo-quiets over OEM any day.
