Default Car won't start, need some HELP!

So I just attempted to start my car and nothing -.-

It's an 03 350z, earlier this week I have noticed that starting the car has been a little slower. Like the starterror motor didn't seem as strong. Today I went to start it up and nothing. Not even a clicking sound from the starter. Everything powers on like radio, windows, lights. And the voltage on the dash read 12. So what can this be?? I need some help please!

Could it be the starter completely died?

Need to post more info- how old is the battery? Have you checked and cleaned the battery terminals themselves? Start with the simple things first...

OK well it turned out my better was bad. So I replaced it last night with a brand new one. But after replacing the battery I still get a slow start. Anyone think it might be the starter motor?

If so, would anyone happen to know if the starter motor from a g35 sedan fits on the Z? Because I have a friend that has a brand nwe one that he will give me

So, back-to-basics: when you installed the new battery, did you clean both terminals and check the connections? Even a fresh battery can't get good power to the starter if there's corrosion.

As for the starter itself, both cars use the VQ35DE, so if your buddy is giving it to you, take it! Most likely, it'll fit, but if not, you can always give it back. Finally, have you learned how to pull and decipher codes? Nissan's system will help you diagnose problems much more accurately than just guessing.
