Default How to change coil pack?

Hey guys, my car is throwing a p0303. So I think the coil is bad.

How do you change a coil on this car. Pics would be great!

Thanks

I took out all my tools, camera, tripod, popped the hood about to start taking everything apart and realized, oh damn it's hot out here today. I'll have to get back to you on that diy with pics. Give me a day or three. Make sure to remind me I might forget.

Jeeze. Disconnect the wire, take off the 10 mm bolt and pull the coil pack off the plug....And change the plug while you are in there.

Noticed the different ways mods have or had to respond and handle threads over the years. Locking threads used to be the rage then a mass exodus around 08 and most mods were replaced many unhappily replaced, evidently. Must be the new push to maintain or retain traffic, oh wells.

IF you were referring to me, I wasn't "handling" anything; I was merely stating my opinion as a member. Questions from new Z owners will always exist and I'll be the first to admit I had n00b questions when I signed on 5 years ago but I was never told to "Google it." It was nice to hear direct answers from members who had more experience with the Z than I did because in MY opinion, Z owners should try and help each other out (when deserved of course).

That being said, do I "spoon feed" everyone? No. Do I delete useless threads or merge them to the correct sub-forum? Yes. Of course, if you have direct issues with the way I present myself on this forum please feel free to PM me or an Administrator so we can work it out

First off all I did google "350z coil pack intallation (and then again with the word replacement)

Nothing came up except sentra and nicoclub bs... Sorry Im not going to try to fix my car based off a sentra thread.
I got a haynes repair manual now so I dont have to deal with you d bags again. (exclude members that actually helped, Thanks for you help!)

Also notice how the thread that was posted (thank you for that) was about spark plugs and happened to have coils in the thread. So when I googled I wouldve never found that because the title of the thread wasnt what I was searching.....

Oh ya why buy a cow when I can suck the milk out your wifes tit for free.

Why buy haynes book when I "thought" i could get help for free.

Nothing against the way you mod, advan, years of this place has given me tough skin. Most of the time we post collectively with humor, some of the mods now encourage it. A few frown upon it, sometimes it's not all consistent. Some of us have become what we thought would never happen, cranky old members that are easily annoyed by the newbs, cough cough, Alberto. lol

There have been varied styles and expectations from the different mods over the years as well. The norm among some of the more tenured members here is that you search and look through threads, do some reading before posting a question for someone to make a diy with pics. Some of us have been conditioned by many of your predecessors who would lock, possibly too quickly, redundant or easy to find answers with an ending post of "use the search."

That practice has passed, but the "use the search" response has resonated.

Alright fellas, try to be more gentle and sensitive. The OP does not prefer the spoon. Make sure to take note.

Just look up spark plug change, you have to remove the coil pack to change the plugs.
