Default SES light came on....HELP!

well last night i did some final touches on my CAI and forgot to put back in the MAF sensor and went to start it. it started weird, and i let it sit for about 3 secs when i noticed i left the sensor unplugged. well got back in the car and the SES light was on. now im freaked! when i first installed my Injen CAI it came on but eventually went off later that night. this isnt going off.

any ideas what it could be?

could the sensor be fried?

could it be something big?

now if the sensor were fried the car instelf wouldnt run or would start up akward right?

well she starts up fine, idles fine, and runs fine.

now when i installed the sensor back into the tube i did have the battery completely connected but in order for it to be fried it must first blow a fuse right?

i have a 2003, touring model so if there has been any recalls on this sensor please let me know. i want to be heavily knowledable when i go into the dealer tomarrow if something needs to be done.

thanks for your help everyone,
-john
