Default Parking brake help!!!

I need help finding a replacment part so I can fix my parking brake on my '03 base. When I remove the wheel and rotor I have nothing there. Previous owner I guess removed it. I don't have any way to mount a replacement kit on to the wheel hub. Is their a replacement out there? This is what I'm looking for. Like I have no way to mount the parking brake kit to my wheel.

You can search Google for the 350z factory service manual it should show you what parts you need, and how to assemble it.

Local dealer can source all the parts you may need.

dboy---All 350's come with a drum parking brake. It is built inside the back rotor. Nissan really put 4 wheel disc brakes on all the 350's.

I don’t know what parking brake assembly is in that picture, but it isn’t a 350Z unit.

No kidding. There's no cutout in the dust shield for a brake caliper, and that's a hydraulic cylinder at the top.

As previously said its a drum style underneath the rotors in the back. It's now hydrolic however your handbrake has a cable that runs all the way to the back and there's literally nothing under mine. The previous owner took them out because "it does burn outs better" some people in this world make me shake my head. But thanks for the help everyone. I have been searching in every manual I can find and every diagram as well but haven't been able to find anything. I guess a trip to the stealership is in order.

You're not going to find parts at a dealer to work with an aftermarket hydraulic e-brake kit, so all that needs to come off. Take a look at the courtesy parts site and just order everything from the backing plate out, assuming the cable stuff is still in place.

No junkyard in your area? You could probably get two rear hubs and just swap the parts over. Wear on the shoes is virtually squat.

Turbo Toys in Tampa always has parts from many salvaged Z's, so he may be able to set you up with everything you need. There can't be much demand for those parts, so haggle with him and see what you can do.

I was wondering what was going on with the picture, I just replaced the brake shoes on mine and they looked nothing like the first picture.

Thanks everyone for the help. To answer most people yes I know that's not what a 350z looks like under the rear rotors I was just giving an example. But no scrapyards around for hours that would even have this car. Have all kinds of small ones in my area but I've checked them all and 90% of them didn't even know what car I was talking about. But thank you to all that helped out I really appreciate all of it.

I think I will make a trip up to a few scrap yards near St. Louis and see what I can find. Have friends that go up there and they always have one or two Z's sitting but no clue if they have the part I need. And they won't tell you over the phone either. But thanks again everyone! This forum is one of the best I've seen, everyone is very helpful!
