compared the 105 to the 110 and 108 at autozone today and the 105 is a hell of a lot bigger than the two.
just a little question here. since the filter is a lot bigger doesnt it mean its going to take more than 5qts? and with the pathetic dipstick of ours, it going to be hard to measure.

Just found a place where I can buy Mobil 1 filters for $10! Went to my local EZ Lube, and they were nice enough to sell me a few M1-110 filters at their cost ($10 each) They come in a cardboard case instead of the retail box... but who cares? Beats 11.99, which is the usual price everywhere else.

This was a good thread to read.. getting ready to do my first oil change and was just going to get the better quality Fram filter... think I'll be purchasing a Mobil 1 filter instead now...
What about oil, I'm still looking for a definitive answer on synthetic vs. mineral based. I've been using Mobil 1 for over 4 yrs now on my other vehicles and up until I read some posts on zcar.com saying I shouldn't use syn., I've been confused...
Can someone dispel these myths so I can be confident in buying Mobil1 for my Z or will I be going to mineral based?
