So my service engine soon light came on?
this morning I woke up to the service engine soon light, took it to auto zone to see if they could run the code and they said it was perfectly fine. might I add I had to change the clutch 2 days beforehand. any recommendations on how to solve this?
I'm serious... not kidding... You want to do a fume test if you have the SES light and no code.

You woke up to a service engine light (sleeping in the z, nice bro). If you have the money try taking it to a Nissan dealer for diagnostics or try a better scan tool. If it did throw a code and somehow reset I think it stores for a certain amount of drive time. Or you could drive conservatively and see if it comes back on in which case I would try to check the codes again. Without the code you don't really have a starting point esp if the car isn't doing anything abnormal.
P.S. if the service engine light is flashing turn the car off

I use bluedriver and it will show pending codes if the light was on and went off. Everyone should have some sort of obd scanner. Nicer ones cost a little money but you can get entry level models pretty cheap. For less than a tank of gas, you can check codes, clear service engine lights yourself.
