Default Center gauge cluster not working

Hi I have a 03 and just recently hit 250k miles. Just today my left gauge in the center cluster stopped working. It was blank and I couldn't scroll throw the options. The oil and volt gauge were working but only for about 10 min then they went out too. Everything else works radio, interior lights , etc. I had no radio work done I do have aftermarket radio though. If you know anything helpful please let me know thanks.

Basic trouble shooting, which only you can do. Pull off the waterfall and check all the connections, look at your fuses, etc. A good used set of gauges, if they've failed, is maybe $30 on eBay. I might even have them handy, so you don't have to take it apart twice.

Try to disconnect the battery for a while also.

When I had a my cluster gauge turn off ( no speedo, tach, fuel, temp, and that left pod that shows the tire pressure) I just needed to disconnect the battery. If you reconnect the negative too soon, it won't fix it. 30 minutes isn't enough. I left that negative off over the weekend, reconnected, and it fixed it. The brain just needed a reset. There's even a South Park episode on this.

check the connector in the back. Its on the drivers side. youll have to pull the water fall out at the top..not hard to do.

Another thread with no conclusion. What was the problem in the end? What fixed it?

No real information on this issue so i tell you how i fixed my problem..after checking all fuses and all of them was good..i check the connector in the back of the three gauges. Its on the drivers side. youll have to pull the water fall trim bezel out at the top just enough to see the connector ..be careful! ..the bottom still screwed in so don't pull back too far ..not hard to do. Now it was easier for me Not to be sitting, but rather reaching from driver side unplug connector with car running and plug it back in and all gauges came back to life! Push bezel trim back in place and done..hope this helps some one
