Default Help! My shifter vibrates with a clinking sound

I installed a Nismo Chrome shifter as well as a new flywheel, I know the flywheel makes a gravely sound but the shifter also has a sound too. I dont know if this is coming from the new shifter or not. Everytime its in the low rpms u can HEAR the shifter vibrate until you reach a higher rpm. Does anybody else with a nismo shifter have this problem and how can you fits this.

Something similar happened to me the other day, and it was the silliest thing.

I had taken off my shift **** at one point, and when I put it back on, I didn't screw it down all the way. Inside the shifter, there was a metal "spacer" that was tacked up inside the shifter with what looked like loctite or something. Well, after a thousand miles or so, it finally worked itself loose, and fell down the shifter shaft. This was making this insane rattling/clanking noise.

I fixed it by (after taking thek **** off and finding out that it was a loose spacer) , tightening down the shift **** with a pair of channel locks, wrapping the **** in a towel first.

Now, its nice and tight, and no more rattle!
