P0014,p0183,and p0462
So recently, while working on my 2008 350Z aftermarket radio I recieved the codes p0183 and p0462 because I didn't have my console with radio screwed back together. But as I was finishing the wrap on the plastic rear strut cover, I cranked the vehicle and drove it while disassembled. I received a p0014 code cleared it and it came back 10 minutes later. Cleared the code again and assembled the rear molding and drove it around. No codes reappeared. Is that normal to get those codes when the car is dissassembled? But solenoid is new.

Don't overthink this. You unplugged stuff, you threw codes. You returned the car to working order and the codes are gone. Of course the car's going to see a problem if the ECU or BCM or some other module isn't getting a signal because you disconnected something.

If you're still throwing a p0014, it could be a myriad of things. Start by just checking your oil level and its condition. You said your solenoid is new (I assume we're talking about an exhaust valve timing control solenoid here.) Is it OE or aftermarket? Also, why would you think that the p0014 code would have anything to do with your radio being disassembled?

Because there's a post on here that throws the other two codes when the dash and ac control box are not plugged in that those other codes will show up. Just trying to figure out why all of a sudden I would throw a p0014 code with the back trunk lid light not hooked up. That's the only thing I disconnected and when reconnected, I don't get the code anymore

Kevin, if you have nothing useful to contribute to a Maintenance & Repair Forum thread then go hang out in the Lounge.
OP: Sometimes a code will pop up because it's just going to pop up and has nothing to do with another issue going on. Focus on troubleshooting the source of the P0014 code as per the FSM and stop thinking about what it has to do with your disconnecting the trunk light.

THE P0014 code is the solenoid timing cover, the passenger side, which is alot more difficult to replace than the driver side P0024,i had both codes for over a year now, didnt drive the car much-less than 300 miles, but i just replaced both timing solenoid covers this weekend and it fixed the problem, cost me around $1150 got my parts from concept z performance, online, they have the best prices. good luck
