Looks like it's close enough to yank that puppy down and latch it, looks fully extended, just a bit high. That's what I'd do from the pics.

It was like that when I bought it, owner said that was because the passenger side window elevator wasn’t working, i already fixed that window but it still like that, it can go all the way down if we push it but it doesn’t seem to reach properly because i cant lock it, also the right apparently is not fitting the hole

Help me to understand. Are you saying you bought this car knowing the top doesn't close properly and you cannot drive it in the rain?????

Obviously the dude bullsh!tted you. Check to make sure the motors are good. Something in here might help as well. Check the service bulletins for the soft top - https://my350z.com/forum/350z-roadst...ulletin-s.html

Default I know the cause of the problem but not the solution.

One day I was going down the highway and the wind got between my top and the top of my windshield, the latching hooks must have not been engaged and the top almost came off my car. Unfortunately I have not found a way to fix this. That is why I am here. the same problem I have is the same problem you have the previous owner lied to you.

You can't fix it.....the assembly needs to be replaced
