I've already replaced the relays in my own IPDM. They're soldered inside of it for the ac. I bought all 5 and replaced all 5 because I wasn't sure which it was. Everything else still worked except the freaking compressor clutch.
The problem is there's no power coming out of the IPDM to go to the compressor clutch.
But I thought maybe mine is just busted? So I got Silver's and plugged it in and I'm STILL GETTING NO POWER from that pin. Verified with a multimeter.
At this point I give up. If no one has any other suggestions, I'm just gonna take her to Nissan. Last thing I wanted to do

Well, broke down and took my baby to a repair shop that was highly recommended. Defeat admitted.

Went to check up on the Z today after work. She was in the process of being vacuumed and recharged. I hung around chatting it up with the guy and helped him find this and that under the hood and gave suggestions I haven't tried yet. Suggestions didn't work 😑
He became stumped so he decided he's gonna have to bring his co worker to do some "probe" stuff? Forgot how it was worded but I definitely heard "probe." Apparently they're gonna have to get into the electrical part of it now, basically where I already was and gave up on. I guess I'll check on her again tomorrow and if they can figure it out, I'll be back with the answer to this dilemma

My only point was you can add a lb of refrigerant but if it's leaking out the low pressure will cause a lockout on the compressor. Have you added Blacklight dye? Hope you got it sorted.

Yes dye was added and there's no leaks anywhere. Checked on it today at the shop and they haven't worked on it today since they had other cars to finish up. No rush though, as long as they can fix it 👌

IPDM question:
Recently completely rebuilt the motor in 03 350z manual. Cranked right up, I mention this because the guy we took it to tune said" people normally just get a new/used engine because it's such a PITA". So remarkably it runs and drives. He cleared some previous error codes, but have the following issues:

Bank 2 camshaft solenoid half or less reading of the Bank 1. 15/36 and went down further as he swapped in two used solenoids from the shop.

A/C will run and cool, fans run. Fans will stop, A/C blows but doesn't cool. Previously had thrown the belt when it A/C disengaged before. Have some cooling issues, found a small leak (fixed), but the car will run, drive, race the gears in the mountains. Interstate driving overheated it. Another instance it drove 1.5 hrs with no issue then, purged the coolant. Overheated because fans suddenly stopped (ghost in the machine) or accumulated an air pocket.

Using his Scanner, it would not read the IPDM at all, which may explain the issue above with the fans? Question: Does the scanner read around the ECU for the others or does it first have to signal through the ECU? So bad path through the ECU issue so it doesn't acknowledge the IPDM.

I found a used IPDM, assuming that's the issue. Can I plug and play that and how do I know if it'll work for the car? It appears identical. I've visually compared and the numbers on the top sticker and it's a D type?

I'm old enough to remember when you only had to check two things for electrical, power to starter and spark? Mechanical stuff is okay, but the electronic stuff is beyond my pay grade apparently. I'll pay to have it fixed if I have to, but would like to see if we can complete the mission.

It's probably the A/C & Meter amp. It's the white box below the radio attached to the control unit by a ribbon cable.

as long as the layout is the same, it's a plug and play. Plus make sure you have all the same fuses and relays in place.
