Default trans problem

just got on this site don’t know if i’m posting in the right place , but about a month ago i was driving about 30 mph and when i went to switch gears my trans made a loud bang and my clutch pedal got stuck to the floor , sent it to the shop , got master and slave cylinder replaced , fork got replaced , but my clutch still is stuck down , the shop was sketchy so i moved it out of there but the clutch still won’t return up , i ordered a stage 2 clutch yesterday cause the shop told me i needed a new one , if that doesn’t fix the problem any other ideas ?

Welcome, and it sounds like you've got more of a clutch problem than a transmission issue. It also helps to post what year Z you have and how many miles on the odo. You describe a loud bang when the pedal stayed on the floor. That's typically a problem with hydraulic pressure, and could be a blown line, slave cylinder or brake master gasket. Have you done any maintenance on the clutch system of this Z?

Since you've already thrown a bunch of parts at this car, the first thing to eliminate is any air left in the hydraulic system. That sketchy shop may not have bled it correctly, or blown the installation. You don't mention whether you have any mechanical skills, but if you don't have much, you may need to get a ASE certified wrench or Nissan trained tech to help you. Good luck!
