Is there supposed to be something plugged into the the ac compressor I see no dangling wires from above

I got a 2003 350z

 

Air conditioning was such a big problem for me. My car is old because I got it from my father and it is a 1997 Ford Mondeo. I like it because it’s spacious and I made something like a small bedroom in the big trunk. And this old car even had an AC! I was so happy to learn about it, but it did not work. I spent so much time trying to repair it, and it turned out that I needed to refill the freon liquid in it. Now it works so well, and I drive with an AC and cool multicolored LED strip lights on. This is why I love my car even though it’s old.
