I am in Chicago and would like to find 350z owners that are also mechanics and like to work on their cars that tehy use themselves.. Any recommendations?

 

Welcome-iIf you're asking for how to work on your car, I'd suggest this 'maintenance and repair' section is the best the post questions in. Depending on what other questions you have, there are separate sections for everything from performance and racing to suspension or stereo questions.

 

Thanks. I guess I am trying to meet local people whom can recommend shops or mechanics. I am not a mechanic but would like my car to be in top shape, and want to meet someone who appreciates the car for how amazing it is and is a tech. savvy I guess referrals and local shops in Chicago area is what i am sort of looking for.

Try the regional subforums to post this type of question. Check out the north central forum to see if there's any discussions on Chicago.

 

This ^^ and you might try joining a 350Z group or few on Facebook (did I really just say that? ) and pose your question there. There's always someone with an answer there.... right or wrong.

There's lots of this forum's members in the Chicagoland but, the participation here is kind of sparse.
