Default Hesitating Gas pedal

I recently bought a 2003 350z and have noticed that when I drive regular it works fine, but if I try to go open throttle the car will slowly rev for about 3-6 seconds and then give full power , I know some people say it’s the dbw but I’ve owned a 350z a few years back and it did not drive like that at all. What could cause the throttle to not open up for a few seconds?

My money is on a bad accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor or possibly bad throttle position sensor; but the former tends to be culprit due to it not transmitting the DBW signal immediately to the throttle body/controls. There are ways to test the accelerator pedal sensor with a simple VOM (volt ohm meter or multimeter). Google it on here.
